This past Sunday, Millennial’s from all over the area came out to Views From the Grits: All Black Edition for brunch, vibes and a good time. That’s right! This was a day jammed packed with an open bar, brunch, and a day party. It was definitely not an event to miss.
The day started with an open bar and soul food brunch with food provided by Ohh’s and Ahh’s. Guests spent the first two hours of the party taking advantage of the open bar and indulging in delicious mac n cheese, wings, yams, greens, and cornbread.
After appetites were satisfied, the party began. Views From The Grits provided a dynamic music experience satisfying all the partygoers with 3 different DJ’s.
The day party began with old school R&B and took it back with the sounds of Marvin Gaye, Mary J. Blige, and Lauryn Hill. This party, described as a “millennial family reunion”, definitely left us feeling nostalgic of our childhood playing popular TV theme shows songs from shows like Moesha and Proud Family.
No genre was left out as they continued with a Go Go set, Southern Trap set and even a Gospel set! Then, of course, wrapping up with today’s hottest hits.
Views From The Grits was truly a great brunch and day party event. This was not a stand on the wall affair. It was packed with great food, fun, and people all evening long, Make sure you don’t miss the next one. Learn more here. ViewsFromTheGrits.com
