Nationally Recognized Black Media Outlets Ramp up a Benefit Concert to Aid Hunger for Families of the DC Region!

DMV’s Top Musical Acts for One Night Only & AMPD join forces to announce their collaboration “What’s Going On: DMV Digital Benefit Concert airing on Saturday, July 25 at 8PM via YouTube and Facebook. The Benefit Concert features performances, as well as, special guest appearances from some of the top artists and creatives in the DMV such as Angie Ange (Syndicated ‘Morning Hustle Show’, 93.9WKYS ), Ari Lennox, Big Flock, DJ Quicksilva and Dominique Da Diva (93.9WKYS), Funsho (The Voice: S15), Malik DOPE (Currently on America’s Got Talent S15), Maya Milan (BET’s – The Next Big Thing S1 Finalist), Q Da Fool, Ronald Moten and more! The purpose of this concert is to not only showcase the amazing artistries our district has to offer but to help with a bigger cause and that is making sure every family is eating during these horrendous times of COVID-19.

DMV has some of the biggest and brightest stars and they have all join the concert to give voices to these times of change and these times of need. “What’s Going On: DMV Benefit Concert” will be directed by Zeplyn Tillman (Creator of AMPD) & executive produced by Angie Ange, The Media Prince (, TMZ) & Zeplyn Tillman and will address COVID-19, Police Brutality, Mental Health and more! All proceeds from the digital benefit concert will go to Martha’s Table for their continued efforts in the fight against hunger, helping with education, providing health & wellness services for our communities, and support for our families. The result is the first digital benefit concert to come from the DMV and it is right on time! The full concert will be on both YouTube and Facebook, July 25th, 2020.
