With a cold climate and a pandemic of COVID-19, winter in our country is a tough time. During the annual Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week, foodies will be able to help restaurants and score specials this year. The Restaurant Week is held from Monday, January 25th to Sunday, February 7th, 2021, culminating on Super Bowl Sunday.

Organized by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington. The event was initially supposed to begin throughout the Opening Week but was delayed during the week because of the situation of emergency and security.
What better way to celebrate than with a meal from your favorite restaurant after safety levels are increased after the opening week activities? Restaurants in DC, Virginia, and Maryland are selling $35 or $55 per individual multi-course dinner menus. Many restaurants offer dinners at two rates for two or four individuals that are specially priced. Certain restaurants include cocktails and pairings with wine.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Winter Restaurant Week strives to help the hospitality industry. The next event, like Summer 2020, will concentrate on take-up and distribution as limits on dining in the metropolitan area persist.
The indoor catering ban of the city was lifted at 5 a.m. on Friday. January 22nd.2021. And restaurants also have a 25% potential to return to indoor operation. The economic effect of the pandemic and, most recently, the prohibition of the indoor diner after threats of violence before and after the opening continues to be felt at restaurants in the country. In conjunction with a D.C tweet.

The restaurant ban — or “pause of the inauguration” -, which took effect on December,23rd.2020 pause for some Phase 2 operations, such as indoor dining, because of public health and security issues, was initiated by Mayor Muriel Bowser’s Chief Staff, John Falcicchio.
