This year on May 5th, the DMV will celebrate the cultural Holiday known as Cinco De Mayo. This is one of the most celebrated holidays in the nation’s capital. Many event promoters and event organizers host various events throughout the Washingtonian area, ranging from Happy Hour, Private events, outdoor festivals, parades, and family day out.
This Cinco De Mayo event is full of excitement, fun, meeting new people, and entertainment. The ideal dress code theme when heading to any of the events varies; ideally, Women are encouraged to wear rebozo, huipil, chincuete, quechquemitl, refajo, posahuanco, enagua, and men can wear sarape, charro suit, Baja jacket, guayabera and poncho at the event. The colors of the Mexican flag are Green, White, and Red, and these are the colors you can consider wearing as you partake in Cinco De Mayo.
The definition of flag colors has changed over time; green represents hope and freedom, white represents peace and purity, and red represents faith and the blood of national heroes.
