The Sistahs in Business Expo (SIB Expo)

is the country’s only multi-city small business expo dedicated to celebrating and empowering entrepreneurial women of color, the nation’s biggest and fastest-growing community? SIB Expo provides a welcoming environment for women of color to develop their visibility and grow their companies. Unlike other small business expos, which typically charge hefty vendor fees, the SIB Expo provides a more cost-effective, yet high-quality choice for small firms, ensuring that they may make a higher return on their investment.

The Sistahs in Business University, in addition to the expos, has been established to give in-depth training for entrepreneurs on how to start and scale their firms.

The SIB Expo, as a multi-city event, draws people from key cities throughout the United States to promote and honor entrepreneurial women of color. SIB Expo has visited Newark, NJ, Philadelphia, PA, Columbia, SC, and Atlanta, GA since its inception in 2018.

Over 75 different companies will be showcasing both products and services at this year’s expo, as well as exciting speakers and panels, organic networking opportunities, raffles, door prizes, and much more. SIB (Expo) Speakers

Cynthia Denise Bailey-Hill-Keynote Speaker

Mrs.Bailey-Hill is an American model, reality television personality, and actress who was born on February 19, 1967. Bailey went to New York City at the age of 18 to pursue a modeling career after growing up in Alabama. She earned a five-year deal with Wilhelmina Models there and went on to feature in different periodicals and commercial campaigns as a model. In Paris and Milan, she worked as a runway model.

Beverly ‘Bevy’ Smith-Featured Speaker

Ms.Smith was born on November 2, 1966, and is an American businesswoman and television personality. She is most recognized for her role as a co-host of Bravo’s Fashion Queens, a fashion-themed discussion show. Smith is the host of “Dinner with Bevy,” a dinner party series in which she invites individuals from the entertainment, fashion, and media industries together.

Aisha Taylor Issah  –  Founder and CEO

Founder and CEO of the Sistahs in Business Expo, Aisha Taylor Issah is a successful entrepreneur, college professor, and ordained minister. She has been featured in a variety of publications and media sources throughout the years, including Black Enterprise, Sheen Magazine, NBC, CBS, ABC, and FOX. TAYLORmade-Professional Career Consulting, a full-service career consulting and recruiting business, was co-founded by her and her sister in 2005. In 2017, Aisha founded the Sistahs in Business Expo (SIBEXPO) to offer a cost-effective place for entrepreneurial women of color to build and exhibit their businesses.

Jacqui G. Stallworth  –  Visual Design and Branding Manager

Jacqui Gilmore Stallworth is the Visual Design and Branding Manager, and the Founder and Creative Director of 10.30 Designs, LLC. Ms. Stallworth’s design firm produces graphic and visual design for a variety of projects, including website design, social media, exhibit materials, and marketing collateral, as well as comprehensive branding and identity overhauls. She graduated from Moore College of Art & Design with a BFA in Communication Arts (with a focus in Illustration) and an MA in Publications Design (with an emphasis in Graphic Design) from the University of Baltimore.

Tevra L. Francis  –  Marketing Coordinator

Tevra L. Francis, MS, the Marketing Coordinator, and have made it her mission to offer creative media and communication strategies to small businesses, nonprofits, and healthcare organizations. Tevra joined the Sistahs In Business Expo team, passionately supporting and respecting Aisha Taylor Issah’s goal to encourage and celebrate women of color who are entrepreneurs!
