Having been in the hospitality industry for 5 years and counting, Monniquer (Moe) Peacock is still going strong with no signs of stopping. Her mantra- impacting the world one drink at a time has given rise to a number of service opportunities through her bartending at events such as weddings, festivals and political meetings- a dream borne out of her clients’ requests to bartend at their various events. She’s a naturally creative person, something she could not freely exercise when she worked for other bars- leading to the birth of the Topshelf Peacock.

Her cocktails are inspired by a DMV upbringing. Each cocktail tells a story to be experienced by cocktail lovers and enthusiasts alike. Her creative mind is behind handcrafted cocktails at premiere DMV events and has worked with many brands across the US. 

This time she’s bringing her expertise to the cookout on June 11th, 2022. Starting at 4pm to 8pm.

In her own words, “The benefit of attending The Cookout is not only for the craft cocktails but also connecting with the people of DC. I am big on community and bringing people together. Some of the best relationships or business deals involved great food and delicious cocktails.”

Moe’s love for bartending at events has also brought out the competitive side of her, and this led her to being crowned number 3 at the recently concluded Chocolate City’s Best Cocktail Competition. Attendees of the cookout can expect to have a time of their life with a live band, Makers mark tasting room, great cookout cuisine and delicious cocktails.

During her free time, she researches for innovative ways to enhance the cocktails she serves in order to give her clients world class experience.She has always encouraged her clients to choose premium high end liquor or shelf alcohol, and that’s where her clientele baptized her Topshelf Peacock hence the name.
