DC Music Summit 2022: Bringing music industry creatives and professionals together from Oct.14th-16th

It is important to promote the well-being and expansion of the DC music industry, hence the hosting of the annual, all-day Summit where ideas, information, and solutions can be shared.

Since 2016, DCMS’s annual Summit has helped hundreds of people by uniting musicians, industry and experts to better Washington, DC’s creative community. This 2022 summit is its fifth edition. DCMS is a 501(c)(3) organization that has a long history of helping independent artists, especially those from women and minority-led communities, advance their careers.

The Summit will take place from October 14-16, 2022, in person with some hybrid elements. ​Get ready to experience some career advancements. The venue of this prestigious event is The Duke Ellington School of the Arts . The renowned Duke Ellington School of the Arts, which will be hosting the conference, is a historic center for creativity in the D.C. area, where it fosters bright young people in the spirit of its iconic namesake.

There are several ways through which you can participate in the summit like being a leader of a session, a performing artist, a vendor, a volunteer, and even a sponsor for the Summit. You can assist with the planning and the success of the 2022 Summit and Non-profit Operations by donating.

There will be a wide variety of workshops, information sessions, industry discussions, networking opportunities, and live performances by some of the greatest stars in the local scene available to Summit attendees during the three-day event.
