It’s the new year, and no better time for Alexandria’s Winter Restaurant Week to return. The best news is that it is already here toward the end of January. Do you know that Visit Alexandria organizes its restaurant week twice a year, both in January and August? From January 20th-29th, spanning for two weekends, are set for the winter restaurant week.
Visit Alexandria first organized the first of this event in 2009. Alexandria Restaurant Week helps the local restaurant industry and promotes the city as a great place to eat.

For ten days and two weekends, during Alexandria Winter Restaurant Week, 70 restaurants in the Alexandria area of Virginia will offer a $35 three-course supper for one OR a $35 dinner for two. Besides the dinner deals, 35 eateries will also provide lunch meals for $15 or $22 per person.
More than a dozen restaurants offer prix fixe brunch dishes for $15 to $22 per person. Old Town, Del Ray, Carlyle and Eisenhower, and the West End are just a few of the communities participating in Alexandria Winter Restaurant Week. Visitors can sample the unique flavors of Alexandria in a wide variety of restaurants, from local favorites to those specializing in international cuisine.
