GENERATION DMV: Men + Mental Health Edition ’23 on April 22nd

Males of different cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, and racial and ethnic groups worldwide tend to put off seeking professional care for mental health difficulties.

Males have a much higher suicide rate than females, as reported by the World Health Organization (WHO) Reliable Source. And male suicide rates are highest in high-income countries.

According to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), approximately 80% of suicide deaths in the United States occur in males. Suicide claims the lives of four times as many men as it does women.

This dialogue about men’s mental health is long overdue, especially in the black and brown communities, given the present situation of mental health in our culture.

Generation is a traditional discussion of the generational differences between Gen X and Millennials, with the ultimate goal of fostering the exponential expansion of businesses, communities, and networks through more collaboration, construction, and networking.

This institution has spearheaded two projects that highlighted viable options for addressing some of the most pressing issues men face today. They are pleased to be a force for positive change, and they vigorously oppose the idea that the status quo is the only acceptable state of affairs.

In the discussion of men’s mental health, they are coming up with GENERATION DMV Men + Mental Health Edition ’23. This year’s edition will hold on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 2-5 PM Est. The location for the event in Silver Spring, MD.
